The Tia Care Experience

Feel-good healthcare that actually helps you feel good

High-quality, compassionate support that’s as dynamic as you.

How Tia goes beyond ordinary healthcare

Compassion

We listen to and believe women not just because it’s validating—it also helps them get and stay healthier. Our providers are specially trained to help you feel welcomed, affirmed, and truly heard, providing trauma-informed, culturally competent care that’s attuned to your experience and identity—including your gender, race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation.

Quality

Our providers are experts in how women’s hormones impact our health and bodies. There are no one-size-fits-all solutions here: we assess your vitals, anatomy, and biometrics to truly understand your unique needs, and take a relational approach to care rooted in thoughtful questions, deep listening, and tailored solutions.

What could a Tia care experience look like for you?

Your first month with Tia: let’s figure out what’s going on

  • In your first 2 weeks, have your first visit. Your provider will get to know you by diving deep into your health history, concerns, and lifestyle—and understanding your unique goals.
  • In your first month, get a full preventative exam, including recommended screenings like blood work, a pelvic exam, Pap test, and/or breast exam. We may also order supplemental labs (think genetic screenings, allergy or stool testing) or set up preventative screenings, like a mammogram or colposcopy.

6 months in: on your way to feeling your best

  • Within your first 3 months, you’ll have reviewed all your screenings with your provider and will have your Care Plan. It might include integrative treatment options—from prescriptions to lifestyle changes—alongside recommended follow-up visits, specialist referrals, and more information you need to feel your best.
  • At 6 months, we’ll see how you’re feeling and how your Care Plan is working—and make updates based on your experience. We may also re-run your screenings to evaluate your progress.

Your first year with Tia: reassess & adjust

  • At 9 months, we’ll have another check-in to listen to and look at how you’re feeling and continue to refine your Care Plan.
  • 1 year in, you should have a solid understanding of your health goals and a custom Care Plan you’re actively working on with your provider. It’s also time for another annual exam, where we’ll see how your health and priorities have changed and collaborate with you on next steps.
  • Throughout the year, get support for your whole self. We’re here for whatever comes up: from colds and flus to UTIs and STIs, skin care to acupuncture, and beyond.

Quality care is better than quick fixes

Being a woman impacts every aspect of your lived experience—both physically and mentally. Our hormones shape how nearly every organ in our body functions, from our brains, skin, and heart to our uterus and ovaries. Our culture’s expectations shape our bodies and minds—and our health trajectories.

Tia recognizes these impacts: it’s why we go beyond reproductive health to focus on women’s whole, dynamic selves.
